ABOUT THE STUDIO

Pilates with Susan is a studio space catering to women who want to be in tune with their bodies. 

Susan believes in the core Pilates principles & they are respected and applied in every class ~ on both the Reformer & Mat .
This ensures for a full body workout experience. 

 

Classes are structured for quality over quantity.

Pilates Mat Zoom / F2F runs once a week & any Private or group bookings can be scheduled by appointment. 

Reformer classes commence Monday evening & continue through to Saturday . 
Reformer small group of 4 where every class is thoughtfully designed for each participant. With a maximum of 4 this is a truly personalised experience.

About

STUDIO PHILOSOPHY

Susan has taught people from all walks of life and believes Pilates offers something for everyone. She has crossed paths with dancers, office workers, athletes, pre and post natal ladies and has seen Pilates work wonders for their bodies and minds.

 

Susan believes people should leave a workout feeling refreshed and energised rather than sore and wiped out. She works her clients hard but makes sure they see and feel positive results while enjoying the journey. 

 

There's no room to worry about the demands of daily life while in a class with Susan. Whether it’s face to face or Zoom, Susan will ensure you realise the mind body connection Pilates offers. She will help you focus on your breath with fluid movements taking your connection to the next level.

 

Susan encourages all clients to work at their own pace and to the best of their ability. She will offer modifications when needed, there are no grades or judgement in Pilates. Just the mind body connection and the flow of strength and movement.

MEET SUSAN

Susan holds an Exercise and Physiology Management certificate from UNSW and Fitness Leadership Certificates I, II and III. She is a Fitness Australia registered professional, certified YogaFit instructor, holds a current first aid/CPR and a current working with children check. 

 

Susan is trained and certified in beginner, Intermediate and advanced Pilates. She is trained with all props and is certified for pre/postnatal and remedial Pilates. She is currently undertaking Stott Reformer Instructor training and is excited to introduce this to her studio.

 

Susan is the official Pilates and YogaFit instructor to the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs NRL team and has instructed pilates and fitness classes at Sydney's top health clubs. She has also presented pilates workshops and training for instructors at various gyms in Sydney.

 

Susan continues to enhance her skills and keep up to date with the latest mind body techniques, training daily and living the healthy lifestyle that she promotes. 

 

When not teaching her wonderful clients Susan can be found enjoying the outdoors with her family. You will often catch Susan snapping a fun pilates picture or taking a video in the most unusual places around Sydney! Check out her Instagram for a glimpse into her daily life.
